With a robust portfolio exceeding 1GW across 300 power plants, they stand tall as one of Europe's foremost independent service providers for PV system management. Their dedicated focus in Ireland revolves around delivering top-tier operation & maintenance and engineering services within the burgeoning PV sector. Beyond these shores, our client is a dynamic force, engaged in project development for utility-scale PV plants and operating as an EPC.

As the horizon expands with the introduction of O&M services in the Irish market, we seek a motivated individual to spearhead the representation and management of our new Irish entity. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, as well as local partners in Ireland. Your responsibilities will span customer liaison, support in office setup, team building, and establishing a strong market presence. Your Responsibilities:

• Represent Ireland: Assume the role of Country Manager or Managing Director for the local entity.
• Identify Opportunities: Scout new O&M opportunities and lead contract negotiations in tandem with the Business Development team in Hamburg.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with the German headquarters to define and implement business strategy, operational processes, and the IT system landscape.
• Team Building: Establish and nurture the team, collaborating with local service providers and the HR team in Hamburg.
• Business Oversight: Manage the burgeoning O&M business, encompassing Key Account Management and overall operational supervision.
• Coordination Mastery: Oversee the coordination of technicians, service partners, and other service providers.
• Structural Foundations: Establish reporting and documentation structures tailored to the needs of the Irish entity.
• Office Setup: Create office structures and processes for seamless administrative tasks.
• Safety Implementation: Define and implement Health & Safety standards, including compliance with specific customer requirements.
• Procurement Leadership: Build a network of suppliers, establish a procurement network, and actively support tender processes.

Your Profile:

• Industry Expertise: Several years of hands-on experience within the solar-PV industry in Ireland.
• Leadership Acumen: Proven experience in building teams, businesses, or business units in dynamic environments.
• Autonomous Drive: A self-driven work ethic coupled with the ability to thrive in cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
• Action-Oriented: A hands-on mentality with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energies, Business Management, or a related field.
• Safety Credentials: Holder of Safe Pass and work certificates for works in an electrical environment, if possible.
• Global Mindset: Ability and willingness to work in a fast-growing, international environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Industry Passion: A genuine interest in the renewable energies sector and a keen awareness of current market trends.
• Location: Based in or around Wexford.
