Internship at the Chamber

Accounting

You tasks:

  • Processing of accounts receivable and payable information such as entering sales, purchases invoices into Sage 50 Accounts
  • Cash management / reporting
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Reporting of VAT return
  • Correspondence with clients in Ireland and Germany
  • Research activities
  • Project work
  • Administrative tasks within the Chamber

Requirements:

  • Business/ Finance student
  • Organization skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Time Management skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Team Player
  • Fluent Communication skills in German and English
  • Knowledge of accounting system is an advantage
  • Minimum duration of 4 months

HR & Education

Your tasks:

  • Assisting the HR & Education Team in all areas of work
  • Deliver Erasmus + student program
  • Internship placement
  • Assisting with Recruitment & general HR tasks
  • Membership
  • Event Management

Requirements:

  • Ideally degree or diploma level in a relevant area of study
  • Previous practical experience / customer service / HR
  • Excellent knowledge of the German and English language
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Excellent communication & Organization skills
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Available for a minimum period of 4 month

Acquire know-how working “on the job” based on the multi-industry experience of DEinternational/chamber environment. Work in close co-operation with the clients, business partners, members and service providers. Gain intercultural experience by working in a German-Irish team for international clients.

Events

Your tasks:

  • Planning events from start to finish
  • Support with general membership tasks
  • Budget management
  • Event marketing and advertising
  • Website management and social media

Requirements:

  • Creative thinking and great imagination, inventiveness
  • Spontaneous and solution-focussed
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge of Eventbrite, Canva, CRM is not a requirement, but desirable
  • Available for a period of at least 4 months

Gain expertise on the job based on cross-industry experience in a chamber environment. Gain intercultural experience by working in a German-Irish team for international clients.

Market Entry / Sales

Your tasks:

DEinternational in Dublin regularly offers internships in its Marketing Department to interested and motivated students within the following areas of activity:

  • Assistance of new business development
