We invite you to participate in the Webinar Rebuild Ukraine, a collaboration between the German Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Portugal) and the Ukrainian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Ukraine).

Ukraine has been at war for more than three years and, given the enormous damage to infrastructure and the energy sector, reconstruction needs over the next ten years are estimated at more than US$500 billion. This means that the country will be the world's largest construction site when reconstruction is fully completed. Our colleagues at AHK Ukraine will be analysing and assessing whether there is a place for international companies in this process and what their practical contribution to the reconstruction could be.

Speakers:

• Reiner Perau, Managing Director AHK Ukraine
  Reiner Perau is the Executive Director of AHK Ukraine, leading the institution during wartime by supporting Ukrainian companies in entering the German market and coordinating the contribution of German businesses to Ukraine's reconstruction. With extensive international experience, he served as CEO of AHK Denmark for 14 years and held various leadership positions in Chambers of Commerce in Germany, Russia, and Eastern Europe. An economist by training, he graduated from the University of Mannheim and has built his career at the intersection of business and international relations, fostering economic cooperation between European markets.

• Nataliia Hryshchenko, PhD, Deputy Managing Director AHK Ukraine, Rebuild Ukraine Coordinator

  Nataliia Hryshchenko is the Deputy Managing Director of AHK Ukraine and the leader of the Rebuild Ukraine team, working to mobilize German and international businesses in support of Ukraine’s reconstruction. With extensive experience in business consulting and financing, she advises companies on investment opportunities, insurance, and participation in tenders from international financial institutions. Before taking on this role, she was a lecturer at the Vadym Hetman National Economic University in Kyiv, where she conducted research on the global consulting market. Holding a PhD in Economics, Nataliia Hryshchenko combines a strong academic background with a practical approach to Ukraine’s economic and business recovery.

• Iryna Preuss, Head of the Market Consulting Department AHK Ukraine

  Iryna Preuss leads the Market Consulting team at AHK Ukraine, supporting companies entering the Ukrainian market by providing advisory services on setting up branches and recruitment. With a strong background in digital communication and project management, she has previously worked as a Digital Communications Specialist at AHK Ukraine and as a Project Manager at Bukovyna Agro Plus GmbH. Her academic background includes a Master’s degree in International Business from HTW Dresden and Bachelor's degrees in Law and Administration from the National Odessa Law Academy and in International Business from the National Aviation University. Combining legal expertise with experience in international markets, Iryna Preuss is dedicated to facilitating strategic partnerships and business opportunities between German and Ukrainian companies.
