The Council of the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce is delighted to announce the appointment of Stefanie Ziska as the Chamber’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Ms. Ziska assumes her role with an impressive background in international business development and leadership within the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK).

To mark the commencement of Ms. Ziska’s leadership and to lay the foundation for a fruitful and successful collaboration in the years ahead, the Chamber initiated an inaugural Meet & Greet. This event, the first of many planned gatherings, brought together key stakeholders from the German-Irish business community, offering an opportunity to engage with the new CEO and discuss future initiatives under her stewardship.

As the new CEO of the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Ms. Ziska is set to build on the strong existing ties between Germany and Ireland. Recognising Ireland’s remarkable economic growth, technological innovation, and its strategic role in Europe’s decarbonisation efforts, she aims to deepen collaboration between the two nations. Her leadership will focus on leveraging the expertise of German companies to contribute to Ireland’s sustainable energy initiatives, particularly in wind energy and hydrogen production, areas where Ireland is poised to become a critical player.

“We are thrilled to welcome Stefanie Ziska to the Chamber,” said President of the Council, Simon Dauber “Her international experience, coupled with her strong track record in fostering business growth, makes her the ideal leader to drive the Chamber’s mission of enhancing German-Irish business relations.”

Under Ms. Ziska’s leadership, the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce looks forward to a new chapter of growth and collaboration, strengthening the economic partnership between Germany and Ireland.
